Nakashimaya Shuzojo, Ltd. is located in western Japan, in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, facing Japan’s largest inland sea, the Seto Inland Sea. Making sake for twelve generations since 1823, the brewery is celebrating its bicentennial. Brewed in a dignified, traditional building, Kanenaka is the name of their kimoto style sake that has been produced since its establishment. Aiming for a deep, tasteful sake quality, Kanenaka is made with care and has won the IWC Gold for three years in a row.
