If you have not tried aged sake, this is the sake you have to try! Honey, roasted cashew nuts, vanilla, raisins, chocolate, pepper and so much more. This sake has a pack a winter spice like aroma with a stunning deep yellow golden colour. It has a gorgeous velvety and oily texture with a gentle sweetness. it has a caramel and a hint of coffee flavour with well balanced and long lasting umami finish. This Koshu would be paired well with duck with hoisin sauce, dim-sum, cheese, Foie gras. Or poured into brandy glass and simply enjoy on its own. This won the Koshu Trophy in IWC 2021. This is Koshu at its very best.
